Meet Lead Artist Mr. Tony

Antonio (Tony) Mason is a multifaceted artist and creator born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens, New York. A true Renaissance man, Antonio’s talents span fashion design, custom sneaker and clothing artistry, dance, music, tattoo art, and spoken word. From a young age, Antonio was immersed in the world of art, sketching and drawing since the third grade, and has been passionately honing his craft for over 15 years.

Guided by the mentorship of renowned fashion designer Roger Gary of “Rip the Runway,” Antonio has cultivated a unique style that blends urban influences with bold, expressive creativity. As the head artist and art director of the non-profit organization Soley Speaking, he empowers New York City youth to express themselves through art, focusing on social equality, life experiences, and their love of sneakers. His custom designs have made him a sought-after creator, with each piece reflecting his vibrant personality and artistic vision.

Antonio’s artistic journey is enriched by his experience as a dancer and dance instructor, opening for the Shanghai Chinese New Year Celebration in Times Square, NYC, and performing spoken word and rap for Life Camp Inc., a non-profit dedicated to gun violence activism. He has shared his voice in various community events, including work for Councilman Ruben Willis, showcasing his commitment to using art as a tool for social change.

With a deep love for tattoos, Antonio is not just an admirer but also a creator, continuously learning and experimenting with tattoo art. His fascination with spiders, flowers, and the mysterious drives his creativity, often blending the unexpected with the beautiful. Known for his playful, prank-loving nature, Antonio’s art mirrors his personality—full of surprises, depth, and a touch of humor.

Influenced by mentor artist Dennis Beswick and the support of close friends and family, Antonio’s work is a celebration of individuality and expression. His musical journey, shaped by his recording studio experience and collaborations with longtime friend Deshaun “Srock” aka The TiTan of Rap and Jaquan Bizzy A’Mour, adds yet another layer to his artistic versatility.
